EPIGENETICS & BIOLOGICAL AGE TESTING
Your calendar age is a number. Your
biological age is the truth.
You can be 52 and aging at the
pace of a 44-year-old. You can be 45 and aging faster than your years suggest.
Standard blood work does not tell you this. Chronological age does not tell you
this. Epigenetic testing does.
At Coastal Women’s Medical, we
offer the most advanced epigenetic age testing available — interpreted by Dr.
Yehl in the context of your complete hormonal, metabolic, and lifestyle
picture. This is not a consumer wellness kit. This is clinical-grade science
applied to personalized medicine.

What is
epigenetic testing?
Epigenetics is the science of how
your environment, lifestyle, hormones, and choices affect how your genes are
expressed — and how fast your cells are aging. DNA methylation is the molecular
marker that scientists use to measure this aging process with remarkable
precision.
The TruAge test analyzes over
900,000 DNA methylation sites across your genome to calculate:
•
Your biological age — how
old your cells actually are
•
DunedinPACE — your current
pace of aging (faster or slower than a year per year)
•
Organ-specific aging clocks
— how each system in your body is aging independently
•
Telomere length — a key
marker of cellular longevity
This is the gold standard of
biological age assessment — the same technology used in leading longevity
research institutions.
Why this
matters for women
Hormonal changes during
perimenopause and menopause have a measurable impact on the pace of biological
aging. Research shows that the menopause transition — if unmanaged — can
accelerate aging at the cellular level. Hormone optimization, lifestyle interventions,
and metabolic health directly influence your DunedinPACE score.
Dr. Yehl uses your epigenetic
results not as a standalone number, but as a data point within your complete
health picture. Your pace of aging is contextualized against your hormone
levels, your wearable data, your body composition, and your labs — and used to
guide decisions about your care.
Our
epigenetic testing options
TruAge Biological Age
Test — $500
The complete epigenetic age test.
900,000+ DNA methylation sites. Biological age, DunedinPACE, organ clocks, and
telomere length. Blood draw at your visit, results in 3–4 weeks. Included in
both concierge tiers.
TruAge Health Test — $500
Deep insight into your unique
nutritional and biological systems health — testing 110+ biomarkers for
vitamins, antioxidants, healthy fats, amino acids, toxins, inflammation,
oxidative stress, and neurocognitive factors. Recommended annually as a complement
to the biological age test.
Combined TruAge Health
& Age — $800
Both tests together at a combined
rate. The most comprehensive epigenetic snapshot available. Dr. Yehl recommends
this combination for patients entering or navigating the menopause transition,
or for anyone establishing a longevity baseline.
What
happens after your results
Results are not emailed to you
with a PDF and a generic explanation. Dr. Yehl reviews your epigenetic results
in a dedicated visit, comparing them against your labs, hormones, wearable
data, and body composition. You leave with a concrete understanding of where
your body is aging faster than it should — and a specific plan to address it.
For concierge patients, biological
age testing is tracked annually, with year-over-year comparison built into your
longevity report. Watching your pace of aging slow in response to your protocol
is one of the most powerful motivators in preventive medicine.
No other
practice in Monmouth County offers this

available at your standard primary care office or OB/GYN practice. Coastal
Women’s Medical is among the first practices in New Jersey to offer clinical
interpretation of biological age testing as part of an integrated women’s health
and longevity program.
Serving women in Little Silver,
Red Bank, Rumson, Fair Haven, Holmdel, Colts Neck, and throughout Monmouth
