Will I see Dr. Yehl or another person?
Your visits will be with Dr. Yehl, a Board- Certified Physician.
Do you accept insurance? Are my tests covered by my insurance?
Coastal Women’s Medical does not submit visits to insurance companies. We are out of network for commercial insurance, but we can give you a superbill to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Reimbursement is not guaranteed and depends on your coverage. HSA or FSA may be used towards the cost of the medical visit.
Insurance is used for any bloodwork, mammograms, ultrasounds, Pap smears, etc.
Do I need to be seen in-person?
This depends on the reason for your visits. Many visits can be performed over video and Dr. Yehl has been practicing telemedicine for 4 years. Dr. Yehl sees patients in person in New Jersey Locations only.
Am I able to get prescriptions and bloodwork with my visit?
Dr. Yehl can order any bloodwork or prescriptions necessary during your visit. We do not provide any narcotics under any circumstance.
What is Trauma- Informed Care?
Trauma Informed Care is special training that healthcare professionals can receive to make them extra aware and attentive to people who have gone through trauma events and have different needs during their medical care.
Can Dr. Yehl be my Primary Care Doctor?
Dr. Yehl practices a specialized type of care and can collaborate with your PCP or specialists, but does not provide primary care services, with the exception of Concierge Patients.
